Sliding Windows and Doors

Enhance your tipi installation with our brand-new Sliding Door System — designed to deliver a premium finish with both style and functionality.

Crafted from high-quality timber and coated in a finish of your choice, the system features durable Perspex windows that flood your tipi with natural light while offering uninterrupted views of your surroundings. Whether you’re overlooking rolling hills, a woodland backdrop, or a city skyline, these doors seamlessly connect the indoors with the outdoors — all while protecting guests from the elements.

Each sliding door unit can be installed into any lift of the tipi. With up to nine sides available, you can create a fully panoramic experience by lifting and glazing all sides — transforming your event space into an open, light-filled venue that remains sheltered and secure.

Take your tipi to the next level with this versatile, visually stunning upgrade.

Keep cosy

Wall System

Maintain the view and extend the internal space with our wall system. Designed to maintain the traditional tipi silhouette, and keep guests feeling snug. We use a quick and easy Keder system for rapid install and each clear PVC panel has multiple zip sections, allowing you to roll and secure the panels in fine weather. This is a modular system so it is possible to add panels even when sides are raised.

Entrance Doors

Solid wooden doors to create impressive entrances. Our double doors are available complete with robust perspex windows, inclusive of blanking panels and straps. Doors not only increase the usable space, but also further protect from the elements. They are fully compatible with our wall system. Consider using a solid door in addition to the zip door, which will ensure a weather tight space inside.

Stay warm

Fire pits

The centrepiece of any Kata tipi event is a fire pit. A cosy and magical ambience is created which always appeals to guests. Our fire pits are split in two, allowing use at either low level or hip height. Simple to install and lightweight, they are easy to move from event to event. You may wish to opt for a bioethanol burner which provides a smoke-free flame.

Tables and Benches

Our collapsible trestle tables and benches are made from Scandinavian spruce. This was selected for its beautiful grain and hard-wearing properties. Stackable and built to last, our rustic range compliments the tipis perfectly.

Service in style

What accessories do you have for Kata tipis?

Our accessories are carefully selected to compliment and fit perfectly into our structures. We can supply doors and walls as detailed on our Accessories page, along with furniture, firepits and bars.

How can having accessories in the tipis help my business?

At Kata, we know that our tipis speak for themselves, but the accessories we can supply can make a big impact for events. Being able to offer a completed event space is hugely satisfying and saves money in the long term on hiring finishing touches in.

Are Kata Tipis weatherproof?

Yes they certainly are. The canvas we selected for our range of tipis is the best waterproof and fire retardant material on the market.

How quickly can we get a tipi from Kata?

As we manufacture our tipis in-house, we have full control over the process, which means our lead times are shorter than other companies. If you need your structure for a certain date just talk to us about your requirements and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Is it possible to lease a tipi?

We understand that there are many business start-ups, or existing companies seeking to expand who don’t have the capital in place when they need it. For this reason, we now offer a versatile and tailored lease scheme, just talk to us to find out more.

Do you offer servicing on tipis?

Kata now offers a free auditing service. Our teams come out to do a full on-site inspection, and we then provide you with a report containing recommendations for any replacements or repairs.

Do you have an area of outside space?

We have a tried and tested model which shows the great opportunity land owners have to expand their business and earning potential with Kata Tipis.

What our structures can offer you

A Kata Tipi can increase the capacity of a restaurant, create a pop-up shop, or provide an event space that never existed before. Endless possibilities.
