Our Giant Hat Tipi tents are
built to last
What makes our Giant Hat Tipi’s special?
Designed and built to withstand the strains and stresses of large organised events.
- All our Tipis are manufactured with Coated Campshield FR1 from Tencate Outdoor Fabrics, a coated polycotton canvas that is the best-performing, premium product on the market. This exceptional material is waterproof, flame retardant, strong, breathable, moisture regulating, UV resistant, and dirt repellant.
- Combined with our Military grade Cordura Skirt, the best Stainless D-rings, fittings and bulletproof zips, your Tipi will easily withstand the rigours of the Event industry.
- Our wooden poles are sourced from the North of Sweden, where the poles grow slowly in cold conditions, giving close growth rings and exceptional strength for their size. The poles are hand debarked and sanded in the UK before the metal fixings are added and a final preservative coating is applied.
- All our metal fixings, both on the poles and all the ground stakes provided are zinc plated to ensure they remain rust free for the life of the tipi.
- Our range of tipis have been structurally tested in all their configurations to meet the British standard for temporary structures BS EN1782.

Make a giant impression
The Giant Hat is the largest tipi in our range, with a capacity for 70 people seated and 120 standing. It’s unique design allows the sides to be raised, which also facilitates joining together many tipis for an even larger set-up when required. Kata Tipis are made with the latest waterproof and fire retardant fabrics and materials.
Our Norwegian Spruce poles are harvested by hand in Northern Sweden, where the cold temperatures promote slow growth. This gives exceptional strength for the weight of the pole.
Open from one to all nine sides of the Tipi to give you a transition from the inside to outside. Combine with the Kata Wall System to provide you with a weatherproof option for all year round use, or protection from inclement weather.
Infinite linking possibilities with the same set of components, no need for complicated linking kits. One common set of components for all links.
